28th May 2011 – less comfortable heritage

33 former PoW huts and a pre-fab – Eden Camp is a surprise in the Vale of Pickering – really very different to the archaeological, built and natural heritage, and something else to think about.

Interesting materials of construction and interesting conservation issues raised, and so many different heritage themes to think about.

On the theme of prefabs and heritage an interesting piece about Catford, South London receiving Grade II listing.

Also loving the Music Hall ‘show’ – George Formby in puppet form – ukulele and all!
