Andy Goldsworthy – mud and military…

And a very nice Goldsworthy project on Alderney with these rather lovely rammed earth ‘stones’ placed inside WWII defences in various locations around the island.

It does look fab – I’m just slightly annoyed from a ‘materials’ and ‘words’ point of view that the rammed earth gets labelled as ‘stones’ – but more on that to follow.
