Park hill flats were listed in 1998, making them the largest listed building in Europe – but then what? Urban Splash got involved updated and renovating the structures – the first phase of the makeover is now complete.

I’m interested in the perception(s) of these structures through time, and how the ideas of ‘home and community’ have changed … possibly also interested in the very SPAB approach to the conservation of the original concrete structure. Although the commercial interests are controversial and the social housing component is tiny – it will be interesting to follow the developments here.
