The september Earth Building UK newsletter is now online:

in August landscape survey work undertaken at Aldborough by the lovely Rose Ferraby featured in the guardian :

and just did a trip down to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park to marvel at Jaume Plensa’s big heads – and like visiting a whole new place as major work on the historic lakes and woodlands of the Bretton Estate have transformed the landscape, opening out views and perspectives that were virtually hidden by dense woodland – showing that a bit of woodland management can go a long way!:
