Archaeology and landscape in the Vale of Pickering (and beyond)

The Landscape Research Centre (Prof. Dominic Powlesland) has started an ‘occasional’ news blog to run alongside the full Landscape Research Centre website. This is a brilliant way to get to the ‘best bits’ of their work and I’m really looking forward to finding out more in a small blog-sized way.

This is one of Dominic’s (very) lovely aerial photographs – showing crop marks in poppies. Have a look here: http://thelrc.wordpress.com/
